Pricing (and FAQ)

I’ve always tried to make this part as straightforward as possible, with complete packages for weddings and engagement shoots. I offer full day coverage for Oxfordshire and South England (Surrey, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, London, Gloucestershire, Wales), and love taking on destination weddings too!

There will of course be a chance for us to go through your plans together, so that you can feel relaxed and confident that I won’t miss a thing at your wedding. Then after the day itself, I’ll meticulously edit your images and provide you with a big, beautiful (passworded) gallery of downloadable images.

Nothing beats that feeling of seeing professional photos for the first time as newlyweds, and reliving all the best moments, as well as moments you may have missed!

Weddings | Main Package | £1450

I’ll be your main photographer, shooting in a reportage style throughout the day. I’ll cover from bridal prep, all the way through to just after the first dance. (approx 9hrs)

After the wedding, all photos will receive my signature style of editing and approximately 500+ full-resolution images will be sent to you in a private gallery download link. Yours to keep, print and share to your heart’s content.

Optional second shooter, £400.

Weddings | HALF-DAY | £900

The same level of photography expertise and dedication, but aimed at those with a shorter wedding day (up to 5 hours coverage).

After the wedding, all photos will receive my signature style of editing and your final images will be sent to you in a private gallery download link. Yours to keep, print and share to your heart’s content.

Engagement Shoots | £300

Most couples really enjoy the fun memento of a pre-wedding couple photo shoot. This is a great opportunity for you to walk away with some lovely images that you can have printed and framed, or even to use as covers for your wedding invitations.

An engagement shoot (1-2hrs) usually takes place in a setting that means something to the two of you; for example some local woodland or parks, or perhaps walking around a beautiful city and all its landmarks and side streets.

FAQ

  • I’m so honoured to potentially share your special day with you! What I always encourage is an informal ‘hi’ and virtual cuppa over a Zoom call. That way you can ask me any burning questions, or even tell me a little more about your upcoming wedding day. If you’re happy to book, then what l do next is send a deposit invoice for £350 to secure the date, and also a standard photography contract.
I then send the remaining balance invoice one month before the wedding date, as well as an opportunity for a catch-up call to go over the finer timings and plans for the big day.

  • I will 100% be your primary photographer from start to finish. I only ever really encourage booking my trusted second assistant if you have multiple venues, need multiple angles, or require extensive coverage of both bridal and groom prep in separate venues.

  • Yes of course! I very much shoot in a natural, reportage way, but with an artistic style on top (with both photography and editing). No cheese! I’m constantly aiming to fulfil ‘documentary, emotive, and storytelling’ aspects as I take images.
Aside from this, I know the importance of group and couple shots, and I’m extremely efficient, friendly and fun organising those. By the way, I recommended to keep it to ten or under for numbers of group shots (to keep timings down), but if you need a few more, then that’s totally fine!

  • Absolutely! I have Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

  • I use the very latest in mirrorless camera technology; the Canon EOS R system, with a variety of Canon RF lenses. These cameras are superb in low-light, exceptional with image stabilisation, provide outstanding face/eye detection (for pin-sharp shots in all sorts of situations), and lots of other techy stuff!.
Basically, no need for cumbersome tripods, or disruptive flashes going off through the ceremony (although I do use state-of-the-art flashes for creative purposes, during the evening).

  • I use two identical cameras, each with two memory card slots. So that’s four sets of captures! Oh, and I also have a whole heap of memory cards and batteries in my camera bag at all times.
On top of that, if you book my second camera assistant, that’s another set of dual captures!
When I get home, I instantly back up everything to my computer and also to two additional, secure external drives.
    To sum up…lots of backups!

  • Seems random, but no, there are three great reasons :)
    1 - My initials are R.A.W.
2 - I shoot all images as RAW (dynamic) photo files.
3 - I aim to capture ‘raw’ emotions at weddings.

  • There’s no definitive answer but I’d say 2-3 weeks in off-peak season, and 2-6 weeks in peak season. Where possible, I’ll send a few sneak peek images a day or two after so you can boast about your amazing day to the world!

  • You’ll love this part! I’ll send you your own special, private link to access your gallery of final, edited images. They’ll be in clear sections (e.g. Prep, Ceremony, Reception, etc), and you’re very welcome to pass this link around to enable your close friends and family to view the images too.
A separate ‘download pin’ will also be supplied, so that you can download any or all of the images. You’ll get a choice to download them as full-size, or web-size (perfect for social media and emails!). There’s an option in the gallery to send off for prints immediately, or you can simply download and print using any print company of your choosing.
I aim to keep these galleries up online for a year, but rest assured, if you don’t download them all in time, I can easily send you a new download link.

  • I hope by now you’ve realised that colour is my ‘thing’. I love showing off vibrancy and saturation! But yes, I’ll aim to sneak in black and white variations of a few of the best images too.

  • I’m always so appreciative when a hot meal is supplied, as it can be a full day of working non-stop. Whether it’s the same main meal as your guests, or something from the venue’s bar menu, I’ll be sincerely thankful! p.s. In response to another popular, follow-up question - no I don’t have any dietery requirements :)

  • Rest assured that I have encountered many couples that are camera-shy, and you have no reason to worry wotsoever! It’s YOUR day, so you should feel relaxed and happy, and not out of your comfort zone when my camera is out. Generally for couple shots, I gauge if you need/want a little direction, or if you’d prefer, I can shoot in a natural style from afar (e.g. as you both chat and laugh on a walk together).

  • My contract covers this in more detail, but essentially, you have nothing to worry about! In extreme circumstance (struck by lightning?!), I have many trusted photographers (who match my style) who I can easily call upon to take my place. Touch wood though, I may never need to do this…ever!

  • Yes of course! Feel free to head over to my blog page to see new (and old) sets of images from many of the wedding couples I’ve shot for.
